M.Sc. in New Media Programme – 10th Anniversary Dinner

The M.Sc. in New Media Alumni Association endeavors to strengthen the ties amongst alumni. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Programme, the Alumni Association organized a 10th Anniversary Dinner to provide a great opportunity for teachers, alumni and students for reunion and renewal of bonding.

The 10th Anniversary Dinner was held on 11 December 2010 at the Banquet Hall, YMCA, Tsim Sha Tsui. Over 120 teachers, alumni and students gathered at this celebrative banquet. Ten alumni/students admitted in each of the past 10 years gathered on stage for a fingerprint opening ceremony marked a memorable start for the event. Mr. Ricky Wong, founder of Hong Kong Broadband Network Ltd., gave a speech on the development of the new media industry "from telecommunications to televisions". Honorable guests attending the dinner included Prof. Paul S.N. Lee, Dean of Faculty of Social Science, Prof. Clement So, Director of the School of Journalism and Communication, Prof. Anthony Fung, Head of Graduate Division of Communication, Prof. Louis Leung, Programme Coordinator of M.Sc. in New Media, Mr. Bernard Suen, Mr. Ringo Lam and Mr. John Yip, lecturers of M.Sc. in New Media.
