Ever since Chow Yuk-Ming joined the local TV and film industry in the late 1980s, his works have continuously caused widespread attention and sparked controversies. Yet the debates and discussion centering on “When Heaven Burns” are still phenomenal. The metaphor of cannibalism has triggered reflections on politics, society and culture.

In this first Monday.COME of the new semester, Mr. Chow will share with us the kinds of struggles and choices he has been through in the creation of this unforgettable TV drama.
