Monday.COME "Media Digest on Anti-Express Rail Link Movement"
Groups of Hong Kong residents protested against the proposed Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Hong Kong Express Rail Link and staged around the Legislative Council Building in 2009. The incident aroused fierce discussions among journalists and netizens in social media. Journalists are being criticized for the quality of their work. Mr. Fredie Chan, an independent documentary director, through interacting with journalists and commentators, produced a documentary that discussed the Anti-Express Rail Link Movement, while probing into the challenges faced by journalists in this networking era.
