Monday.COME "About James Wong, after 7 years of research, what I’m saying is ……"
James Wong was a key figure in the development of Hong Kong culture. He passed away in November 2004, leaving behind a private collection which contains numerous manuscripts, production notes, artifacts, recordings and correspondences that reveal illuminating details of his creative work process. Ng Chun Hung spent the past seven years doing research on the collection. In this Monday.COME, he will retrace the steps of this marathon-like research process and reflect on what was learnt and unlearnt about James Wong, popular culture, and the Hong Kong story.
